CODALoop kick-off meeting which is held in Amsterdam is hosted by the University of Amsterdam, 4 May 2016. At the first meeting of the project, Partners got to know each other and present their own work packages. After the presentation of the socio-economic conditions of the neighborhoods in all districts, there was a brief discussion about all the neighborhoods to be selected. Action decisions are taken as a result of brainstorm between the partners. And next steps have been identified according to Amsterdam meeting.
Here is highlights from the Amsterdam meeting;
Amsterdam Team (with feedback from YTU) defined lifestyle and the research concept of ‘lifestyles’. Then, they presented dimensions and sub-dimensions of sustainable energy lifestyles and they decided to operationalize the energy-use of the four lifestyle areas (mobility, dwelling, leisure and food).
According to YTU Team's primary literature review, meso-level (social factors) and macro-level (contextual factors) are the most relevant factor about individual energy consumption behaviour and external factors might be important, depending on the case. In addition to this relationship between data and community norms are effected by one‐time feedback, interval feedback and real‐time feedback (three feedback approches).
Graz Team studied existing models to see how they can be applied to energy consumption. Because this model help us to understand individual behavioural change and we can see the changes in behaviour after some interventions. The model will be found in the results of research which will allow us to see what type of information has the biggest impact in changing behaviour.
